Matt Gregory Carpentry is a full service Contractor specializing in building custom homes and remodeling homes in the Asheville area.

Our company comes to you with over 24 years of experience in building with wood: 8 years of cabinetry and construction in Raleigh and 16 years of building in Western North Carolina, with the last 12 years as a licensed and insured General contractor.

Matt Gregory Carpentry is an experienced “Green Builder.” In 2011, we built an incredible mountain home that was Gold rated by NC Healthy Built Homes.

We are a family-operated business that is set apart from other builders by an artistic attention to details and a drive to suit the needs of each individual client. Matt and his brother Drew offer a full array of building expertise to any aspect of your building project – from footings to framing, decks, siding, flooring, countertops, custom tile work, handmade interior and exterior doors, and built-ins that come out of our fully equipped woodworking shop. We also have long-standing relationships with a wide range of subcontractors, including electricians, plumbers, roofers, framers, drywall specialists, painters, heating and air conditioning specialists, multi-media designers, and any other specialty that your project might call for.
